*Significant Feature~~ The only Alaskan lighthouse built on the mainland, it is located in a
remote area of the Misty Fjords National Monument. All other Alaskan lighthouses were
constructed on islands. Seven miles north of Canada, it is the southernmost lighthouse
in the state of Alaska. Similar in design to nearby Mary Island Lighthouse.
