*Current Lens~~ 250mm, solar powered

*Current Owner~~ U. S. Coast Guard
*Waterway Location~~ Lower New York Bay, Gedney Channel
*Significant Feature~~   Originally a front range beacon, working in tandem with the now
destroyed Waackaack Rear Range tower. Lighthouse was deemed expendable by the
U. S. Coast Guard in 2007 and made available through the National Historic Lighthouse
Preservation Act of 2000.
