Lighthouse. (From Lighthouse Friends' website)--The westernmost keeper's house at the
New Point Loma Lighthouse was used in the filming of the movie Top Gun. It served as
home of Mike Metcalf (Viper), the commanding office of Top Gun. The house and
surrounding area are seen when Maverick (Tom Cruise) goes to the officer's house to
discuss his options, after the crash that killed Goose.
