*Light Pattern~~ Three white flashes every 10 seconds
*Existing Buildings~~ Keeper's quarters (integral to tower)

*Original Lens~~ Fourth Order Fresnel
*Current Lens~~ 200mm acrylic lens, solar powered
*Open to Public?~~ No
*Current Owner~~ Bureau of Indian Affairs w/ U. S. Coast Guard access to lantern
*Waterway Location~~ Lake Huron, east of Straits of Mackinac
*Significant Feature~~ Prior to construction, Martin Reef was marked by Light Vessel 89
from 1909-1927.  Upon completion of this lighthouse in 1927, the work crew then
relocated to
Poe Reef, where an identical light station was built.
