*Current Owner~~ U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service (as part of Huron Island National Wildlife
Refuge)

*Significant Feature~~  The Huron Island Lighthouse Preservation Association  is
currently conducting studies as to what parts of the lighthouse are most in need of
restoration and when these repairs can be done. Lighthouse is an exact duplicate of
Granite Island Lighthouse, built in the same year.
