*Waterway Location~~ Grays Reef East Channel, Lake Michigan
*Significant Feature~~  Lighthouse took more than 2 years to build. Previously, Grays
Reef was lit by lightships for 45 years, until sufficient technology allowed for the building
of a full-fledged offshore lighthouse.
