*Original Lens~~ Third Order Fresnel
*Current Lens~~ Vega VRB-25, solar powered

*Current Owner~~ National Park Service (as part of Apostle Islands National Lakeshore)
*Waterway Location~~ Lake Superior
*Significant Feature~~  The original Fresnel lens was removed in 1989 and replaced by a
190mm plastic lens. The repaired Fresnel was put back into the lantern for show in 1992,
with the VRB-25 remaining as the active optic.
