*Current Lens~~ 300mm, solar powered
*Open to Public?~~ Yes (in summers as part of Acadia National Park)
*Current Owner~~ U. S. Coast Guard on National Park Service owned island
*Waterway Location~~ Gulf of Maine, at western approach to Frenchman Bay
*Significant Feature~~  Because the light from the tower was blocked by the surrounding
trees, the lighthouse was decommissioned in 2002 and replaced by lighted buoys.
