| 10 Pounder Parrott Rifle Many historians acknowledge the Parrott Rifle as the first modern artillery piece. The barrel was rifle bored and combined the preferred artillery pieces of both the Union and Confederate armies during the Civil War. The cannon could be loaded with a variety of munitions from both fused and point impacting explosive rounds to shot and grape. This intricate sculpture of the 10 Pounder Parrott Rifle has been designed and produced by the award winning craftsmen at Harbour Lights. Each hand cast and hand painted piece is created from a mixed medium of cold cast ceramic and pewter. The sculpture stands 3 1/2 " tall on a 6" by 8" base. $74.95 AND SHIPPING IS FREE! |
